What is this site?
This is the website for the Friday night Trafalgar Square speaker meeting of Narcotics Anonymous, in London, UK.
What is Narcotics Anonymous?
See here for an explanation.
What are the sound files?
Each week we have two speakers at the meeting. They talk about their experiences with drug addiction and recovery.
Who are the speakers?
Ordinary members of Narcotics Anonymous.
How do I play the files?
Click on the name of the speaker you wish to play. Depending on how your browser is set up, this may play the files directly, or download them to your computer to play there. The files are in the mp3 format, and saved files can be played with the Windows Media Player, Apple Quicktime, or on portable players such as ipods or on many mobile phones.
I think I have a drug problem. What should I do?
In the UK call The National Helpline on 0300 999 1212. Click here for a list of telephone numbers in other countries. You will speak to another person who has also had a drug problem, and will understand what you are going through. If there is no reply, leave a message and someone will get back to you.
